Results of the 1st Edition of the Pan-African Project Management Conference

A – General objective and result

The general objective of the 1st Edition of the Pan-African PMC was to give a strong impetus to the awareness of the African community on the key role of project management technologies in the process of the Africa’s economic transformation. The Conference theme was: “Accelerating Africa’s Economic Transformation through Project Management. This objective was achieved thanks to the active participation of media partners (11 in total) and social media.

B – Specific objectives and results

The specific target of 800 delegates for the 1st Edition resulted in a total of 453 participants of which 380 were delegates and 73 were other participants, from 18 countries, that is, an achievement score of about 57%, detailed in the table below.

These results were used to trace the indicators of the success of the Conference notably: (i) very positive reception of the event by professionals, African and international experts, public and private decision makers; (ii) publication of the Final Report of the 1st Edition of the Conference not only by Prescriptor Ltd with the support of CAA as exclusive sponsor but also and especially by Éditions Universitaires Européennes a brand of OmniScriptum GmbH & Co. KG, member of OmniScriptum Publishing Group[1] and (iii) the brand Pan-African PMC and the Organizer, Prescriptor Ltd gained prominence and good reputation.
